Our Background

Hey Guys! 

What started as our beefy Sunday side hustle at Alfies - our northern Thai and Isaan street food joint - in DC, Lucky Buns has become one of DC's and America's most sought after burgers. 

The goal has always been simple: 

Make great food. Food WE love. Using the best house-made products, sustainable and local ingredients that pull people outside of their comfort zone while reinvigorating classic and nostalgic flavors.

Create an inclusive, comfortable and chill environment, free of pretension, that encourage everyone -regardless of where they are from - to mingle, relax, roll up their sleeves and have a good time. 

Tell a story. Be inspired by the great burger cultures of the world. Introduce people to amazing flavors that they may not brush shoulders with on a regular basis and share our experiences, our stories and the the places we love with all of YOU! 

Every dish on this menu has a story.  The music is always going to be a little bit loud. The cocktails a touch wild, and that's how we like it.

All of our burgers are hand formed Creekstone Beef, seasoned to order and cooked to perfection. 

All of our pickles, sauces and spreads are made in house, in small batches. 

Our produce is locally sourced whenever in season.

Our bread is fresh baked daily by Pop's Buns in Washington DC.

We fry in 100% peanut oil.
